Richard has a boring office job, sharing an office with two secretaries. He relieves the boredom at home and at work by writing erotic fantasies. He is in love with the woman who lives in the apartment across the corridor. She presents a respectable (bespectacled) front to him (as Françoise), but has a nymphomaniac side (as Daisy), and at first he thinks they are two different women. His female colleagues tease him unmercifully, but one day they sneak a look at what he has been writing and realise he has hidden depths. So they go round to his flat and seduce him, just as he has begun to get to know Françoise. Much sexual chaos ensues involving Daisy's lovers and her blonde friend into the bargain. This culminates in Richard discovering that Daisy and Françoise are one and the same - cue romantic ending. He is what she wanted all along.
